I wish some day the FW Pro Tour would find its way to Malaysia. Our wind & geography is more than accommodating for windsurfing. But we badly need a shot of inspiration down here…

Syamil - yes, that would be great to do some more events in your your part of the world. The FW class is always looking for new event locations, it just takes someone to have the initiative to get something together (find the funding money, organise a race crew and event site etc etc).

Thanks Sean. Malaysia used to be on the list of the AWT (Asian Windsurfing Tour) every year. Windsurfing used to be very big here a few years ago. But now it fades away along with the riders whom most of them are now in their 40’s. We hold a small FW regatta recently, but only two Malaysian showed up, the rest are from neighboring countries. It’s a shame really.
