The Follow The Winds Project, supported by the International Formula Windsurfing Class Association has been established to show the public - especially targeted towards youth and kids - the values expressed and conveyed through the Windsurfing Lifestyle. The Project is first and foremost to promote the sport of Formula Windsurfing, but secondly as an educational experience using entertainment as its mantra. Our tagline; “education by entertainment for youth and kids”. 

The Windsurfing Lifestyle which is so well known within the windsurfing world is not very understood and publicly perceived outside the realms of the international windsurfing community. Traveling and living in different countries and cultures make windsurfing a fantastic sport to promote tolerance between different cultures. Intercultural learning and understanding, being open minded and smiling is a common and natural trait of many windsurfers and it is important that these ideas of living should be shown to the world outside of windsurfing.
