“There was finally enough ice for a Dutch championship of IceSurfing and so I had to build an ice surf board as quick as possible. In the end I was close to winning this event but because I didn’t have a chance to test the board before the race I ended up finishing 4th overall. But it was a fantastic day and a day to remember! “ says Dennis about the Dutch Ice Championship which took place in the Netherlands in January. Beautiful, sunny weather and good moods warmed up all participants of the race who surfed on the frozen lakes. That is what windsurfers are doing when the lakes are frozen but the wind is still teasing them to be active! Check out the photos!
