To find Steve on the beach, among the crowd of competitors and the public is always easy. First you much search for two beautiful kids playing alongside a blonde sporty woman; she has the same energy as the kids or maybe even more. There is Steve, sitting on the plastic summer chair in the middle of the beach. Next to him on the rubber mat lies another polish windsurfer. They are waiting for the wind.

- How was this past year for Steve Allen?

I lost all my sponsors. The indirect reason of that is my participation in the Dancing with Stars show. Preparation took a lot of my time. The result was I couldn’t be involved in that many competitions as I normally am. Obviously, in the long-term perspective that performance should help me. Even now you can see that AllegroCup uses my face to promote the event. The TV show already brings some propositions to me, but I cannot agree for everything that is proposed to me. I want to choose only the good things. I have to keep my value - I have to have a clear mind, because I firstly windsurfing for myself. We are working now with a different people, my managers to use the flow after show for windsurfing.

- Did Dancing with the Stars change Steve Allen?

No, my life is not changed at all. All the same. I do not feel that now I am more famous or something. Sometimes people pay attention to me, but I wouldn’t say is that so much. My kids also take it normal, of course during a final they got more emotional and especially about the comments of the committee from the show. They of course understand very well, better than me, although the critical words.

- What you are going to focus on in the near future.

I am going to learn more about preparing materials, motivational trainings for companies, to manage a little bit better for the future. I want to be also very busy with the competitions and make the progress on those fields. This year I and my family are planning to go to Australia for Christmas.
