Łeba, small, sunny town in the Polish seacoast - Arnon talks with friends in the white tent assigned for the VIPs, media and journalists. The wind has gone down; windsurfers have a while to take a rest. Arnon sits relaxed on the one of it, ready to confession.

- What has brought a last year to Arnon Dagan?

Arnon smiled in his little cynical but positive way. – It has brought a losing aspect - he laughs loudly and mockingly but the sentence wasn’t exactly a joke. – The competition didn’t go well, apart from Slalom in Germany, rather not that good result as I expected. But it only made me stronger. – he adds with humility.

- What parts of the world have you visited this year?

Well, usual places I use to go: South Africa, Maui for photo shooting where I was with Ross. France, Austria, Korea, Costa Brava, Canary Islands. I was also on the short holiday in Israel in Haifa. Just relaxing at home and doing nothing.

- Concerning to the competition in Israel, how was your event Storm Riders this year?

There were very big waves, from a very big storm that fit perfectly to our goal. We had to do the competition in two days as the first day the wind wasn’t enough strong, but the second day, the waves got up to 5-6 m. It was great. We also have got something more for the community what it is very important to me. We invited kids to our event, kids that are attending to the school for youth with a difficult home situation. We gave to them sweatshirts and then a lecture about windsurfing. There were also press and publicity. The weather was so windy and stormy that normally people in Israel are even worry to get out from the flats. This time big amount of observers was watching the event from restaurant’s window, restaurant that stays next to the beach. So the plan is to try to do a little for community every year. We had very good media cover, we were in the TV. I think we would like to do something for community each year.

- Arnon, you have big musician talent. What is the track for your singing career this year?

Well, I wanted to improve my song during the holiday’s time, but it appears that I have to work more on the Storm Riders event. That took my time. So it caused a little stoppage in the art area. Anyhow I met a guy on the Caribbean and it appears that he is rapping. We did some composition with my keyboard and we put it to the computer. We have some plans to do something together in the future.

- This year everybody is complaining about the bad situation connected with the financial crisis. What is your attitude to that? Has it effected you in any way?

I do struggle a bit with it. But I have never been a billionaire so I am not that stupid to get down because of the worst financial situation. Being a windsurfer I am already choosing LIFE over the MONEY. It was always like this, so taking over the crisis coming naturally. At the end of the day each depression makes me stronger. It was a breath I needed and now I will have a new equipment and I will try to come back to form.
